A licensed marriage and family therapist and founder/principal consultant for Exhortations, LLC, Dr. Stephanie Jacobs offers therapy, coaching, training and consulting services focused on healthy relationships and personal well-being.
After tenure as a secondary English teacher and school counselor, Dr. Jacobs worked as a research assistant at Drexel University while pursuing her doctorate. She has also served as a clinical college counselor at Rider University and as an assistant professor at The College of New Jersey where she taught graduate counseling courses.
Dr. Jacobs earned her Ph.D. from Drexel University in Couple and Family Therapy. She also holds an Ed.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from The College of New Jersey, a MS in Counseling from Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University) and a BA in English Education from North Carolina Central University.
